Create Albanian fatura in lek with 20% TVSH applied automatically. Note that under fiscalization, actual invoices for business use must be issued via a certified fiscalization solution registered with the Albanian tax administration.
The official currency is the ALL (ALL, symbol L). The generator above is already set to ALL, and you can switch currency at any time.
Albania applies a standard VAT rate of 20%. Reduced rates of 6% and 10%, and a 0% rate, apply to specific categories set out in Albanian VAT and fiscalization guidance (e.g. certain accommodation, agricultural and other qualifying supplies) — confirm the current list before applying a reduced rate.
Registration: VAT registration is mandatory for businesses with annual turnover above ALL 10 million (as of 2024).
The local business tax identifier is the NIPT (10-character taxpayer number). Include it on your invoice when required.
Invoice numbers must be sequential within the fiscal year. Since fiscalization, every invoice also receives a unique identifier (NIVF) from the tax administration.
Albania has fully implemented fiscalization under Law 87/2019: B2G invoices to public institutions have been electronic since 1 January 2021, and B2B/B2C invoices have been required through the Central Invoicing Platform since 1 July 2021. Every fiscalized invoice is transmitted in real time to the tax administration, which returns a NIVF and NSLF to be printed on the invoice. A plain PDF from this generator is not, by itself, a fiscalized electronic invoice.
Every claim on this page links back to the primary official source for Invoice Generator Albania. If you are relying on any figure here for tax or legal decisions, please check the source directly and bring in a qualified professional where needed.

Under Law 87/2019, Albania requires invoices to be issued through certified software and transmitted in real time to the tax administration. B2G invoicing has been mandatory since 1 January 2021, and B2B/B2C invoicing since 1 July 2021. Fiscalized invoices carry a NIVF and NSLF from the tax administration — a plain PDF is not a substitute.
The NIPT is your 10-character taxpayer identification number issued by the National Business Center (QKB) when you register your business.
